Story
In June, Team DP9 (Amelia Johnson, Natalie Render, Eleanor Hulm and Nona Jones) will be participating in pedElle 2024, a charity cycle ride for women in the real estate industry. Taking place in Poland, the route covers 455km (280 miles) of hilly terrain and involves nearly 6,000 metres of climbing!
The three-day ride will take us on tour through Poland's hilly landscapes and cultural heritage. Starting in Kraków, day one will involve 157km of riding and finish with an overnight stop at Szczyrk in the Beskid Śląski mountains of southern Poland. Day 2 takes us from Szczyrk to Szczawnica through the Pieniny Mountains, consisting of 176km of riding. The final day will take us 121km from Szczawnica to the village of Sienna, to the south-east of our starting point Kraków.
We will be raising money for Club Peloton, which supports the vital work of a range of charities, including the main beneficiary Coram, which helps hundreds of thousands of vulnerable children and young people each year by providing services to children in need. The money raised will also help support the charitable work of Cyclists Fighting Cancer, who help children and young people living with cancer regain physical fitness, strength, mental wellness and confidence through sport; and Tom's Trust, which provides support for children with brain tumours and their families.
We are training very hard for this event and would be grateful for any sponsorship - large or small - to help us reach our ambitious fundraising target.
Thank you for your support!
