My wife Gill was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in March of this year and since then we have worked hard to pack a lifetime of memories into the past 6 months. My family and I are nothing but grateful to have had her in our lives. She has been the best wife, mother and friend to everyone she met (I'm sure she caused many to develop diabetes with all the cakes, cookies and brownies). Instead of flowers, she explicitly asked for donations to aid wonderful charity to continue its research into this heartbreaking illness. Even though Gill is no longer with us, her memory will live on in all of our hearts.
