Dorothy Lamb is embarking on a sponsored walk up Bennachie to raise vital funds for the charity Shelter Box. This initiative, in partnership with the Rotary, aims to ensure that communities affected by disasters receive the urgent aid they need. Shelter Box supports communities by providing essential items like tents, tarpaulins, toolkits, solar lights, water filters and carriers, blankets, cooking sets and mosquito nets, that are crucial for families in crisis. Thanks to generous donations, Shelter Box has been able to respond swiftly to emergencies, such as providing tents after the earthquake in Morocco and aid to those displaced by the conflict in Burkina Faso.
