The Sauk County Humane Society is gearing up for our 26th Annual PAWS Walk for Animals, to be held on Saturday, May 3rd at the Maxwell Potter Conservancy/Liston Dog Park in Baraboo. We would love your help in making this year another success.

Story

A few years ago, I lost my beloved Pugsly. To honor him, I started volunteering at the Sauk County Humane Society.

What a privilege it has been to work with the stray and surrendered dogs at the shelter. They are so excited to see anyone come to take them away from their kennel for a walk or a romp around one of the outside yards. I’ve been able to teach some of them tricks and obedience skills too.

Sometimes I’m lucky enough to be there when they leave for their forever home…a bittersweet moment for sure. I know Pugsly is smiling down from doggie heaven. I’m usually smiling too because the dogs are so loving and sometimes silly.

As we approach the 2025 Paws Walk for Animals on May 3rd, I feel compelled to advocate for these homeless animals who deserve a second chance at life and love. Your support can make a significant difference in their journey towards finding a forever home.

Will you be kind enough to provide financial support for the homeless animals? Every dollar counts in helping these wonderful animals find their way into loving arms. Each donation of $25 or more REWARDS YOU with a sign on inspiration alley to honor or memorialize someone special to you.

Thank you in advance for your generosity and kindness.
