I'm taking on the Great North Run this September to raise awareness and funds for Saint Michael's Hospice. Your donation will help Saint Michael's support local families living with terminal illness and bereavement across the Harrogate district.

This cause is very personal to me. In May 2021 my mum received a terminal diagnosis of kidney cancer. Then in July 2021 she had a stroke caused by an undetected brain tumour.

She then received palliative care from home, as was her dying wish, until she sadly passed away in September 2021. Saint Michael’s hospice played a huge part in providing this care for which my family are very grateful.
