In loving memory of

David Glyn Rees

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and great uncle on 19th January, 2025. He was an extraordinary man, kind, compassionate, and deeply committed to helping others.

For many years Glyn was a proud volunteer with Marie Curie Cardiff Central fundraising group, dedicating his time and energy to raising money for a cause that was incredibly close to his heart. He believed wholeheartedly in Marie Curie’s mission to provide expert care, comfort, and support to those living with terminal illnesses and their families. Through the work with his group, he helped to make a real difference in the lives of so many.

To honour his memory and his remarkable legacy, we are raising funds for Marie Curie in lieu of flowers. Supporting this charity feels like the most fitting way to celebrate his life and continue the work he cared about so deeply.

Your donations will help carry forward the vital work that Glyn was so passionate about. We are so proud of everything Glyn accomplished, and we know he would be incredibly touched by your support for this wonderful cause.
