Story
We are raising money for The Children's Hospital Charity. Please sponsor us!
We are blessed to live in a city that has a dedicated hospital for children. The Children's Hospital Charity helps Sheffield Children's to change children's lives every day. Their major appeal is to support funding for the National Centre of Child Health Technology (NCCHT).
The NCCHT will be a place to develop world-leading research and new technologies to solve the biggest issues affecting children's healthcare. It will bring together children, clinicians, inventors and engineers under the same roof, with the state-of-the-art facilities for research and digital development and the opportunities to deliver Sheffield Children’s clinical care.
We are a team of friends and family at Sheffield Hallam who are passionate about the future of children and young people. We have seen at first hand the wonderful care that the Children's Hospital Charity offers and the impact that the services have had on lives. Therefore we want to offer our support to the hospital and the children too.
"Both of my children were born in Sheffield. Over the years, we have used the Children's Hospital A&E services on several occasions. My daughter had her first birthday at the Children's Hospital as she had bone infection. She received excellent care and and, as the parents, we were well supported at the difficult time. My daughter has now grown up to nearly my height :) so a big thank you to the care offered by the Children Hospital". Dora
