Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my just giving page!

Thank you so much to everyone for your incredible support and kindness. As many of you may be aware I unfortunately needed to defer this year's London Marathon until 2025 due to sustaining bi-lateral tibial stress syndrome causing swelling of the bone marrow, and was advised I could cause long term damage if I were to run. This was a real blow after 6 months of hard training. I am more determined than ever to complete the 2025 London Marathon and will come back stronger! Giving up is not an option!

Once fully recovered I will continue with my training, to ensure I complete the challenge to celebrate ten amazing years of providing the physiotherapy service for Haven House Children's Hospice, where I have experienced extraordinary situations with the most incredible children, their families and colleagues, that has helped me to understand what really is important in life and inspired me to do something completely out of my comfort zone!!

This feels even more important to me now to complete the challenge I set out to do, to help amazing children who have life-limiting or life threatening conditions to receive the best care at a time when it is most needed.

Any support you can offer for this amazing charity will be greatly appreciated!

With love

Donna Nicol

For sure it will be one hell of a celebration when I cross that finish line in 2025! :))
