Story
Cancer affects everyone it comes into contact with. A diagnosis generates questions and worries for all who it touches. In 2023 I joined the club nobody wants to be a member of however, this big, ugly cloud had lots of silver linings in the form of the wonderful care and support I received from my family , friends, our amazing NHS and Tenovus cancer care . This charity helped me to talk about feelings I didn’t want to burden my nearest and dearest with and to look to the future. On 25th May I will be walking 42 miles in 24hrs from Velindre cancer centre in Cardiff to Singleton hospital in Swansea to raise money for Tenovus. I will walk with friends and family in the memory of much loved family members who have lost the battle and for family and friends who are still battling today. All donations will be gratefully accepted xx
