It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer die within 3 months. Survival rates have improved enormously for most cancers, yet for pancreatic cancer, this is not the case.

Sadly in 2012 I lost my lovely Nan Mollie Good to pancreatic cancer, so when I saw a charitable ride advertised at work in memory of Dame Clare Marx I thought “I’ve got to do this “. I’ve never cycled this far, so it will be a challenge! After cycling 70 miles on day 1, I will be sleeping in a church hall, with strangers, before we go on to finish the challenge ( roughly another 24 miles) on the 2nd day, cycling into central london.
