Story
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I met an incredible group of people recently at the Scottish charity, "Finding Your Feet" - https://findingyourfeet.net/. They do phenomenal work to support those dealing with amputation and limb absence (and support their families too). Their tireless efforts are beyond impressive and touching and as my own Grandad had a prosthetic limb later on in life, I felt compelled to join them in their efforts to raise funds, to help them help others.
I work for a not-for-profit, business-support company called, Inspirent (https://inspirent.co.uk/) and they have very generously covered my registration fee to do this challenge, so I am incredibly grateful to them for this opportunity.
The fundraising challenge is to abseil down the Forth Rail Bridge (165 feet drop) in October and as I have an extreme fear of heights, this is not a challenge I take on lightly, but my fear can't possibly compare with what those dealing with loss of limbs face. Any donations you provide would be sincerely appreciated by both me and the amazing team at Finding Your Feet. Thank You.
