Story
As many of you know we recently lost our beloved Dad, & our mum Cacs lost her husband and soulmate Simmy. Our hearts were broken into a million pieces and life will most definitely never be the same without him.
On the 6th of May exactly 2 months from when our dad went missing, we as family and friends of Simmy are taking part in the Chris's House Walk of Hope, this is a 5km route which will take place during the early hours.
The significance of the Walk of Hope is to remind us that the darkness is temporary and the light will follow. We begin the walk when it is dark at approximately 4.15 am and the sun rises as we complete the 5k route. This is the specified day of the year that many choose to walk in hope all around the world to raise awareness of suicide prevention.
Suicide doesn’t just mean it is the end of someone’s suffering, it also means the beginning of another’s, no one ever realises or can imagine the impact that suicide has on those left behind.
It is a permanent solution to a temporary problem
We are doing this in memory of our beloved Simmy but also to help us all with our healing journey in finding a little closure and I would be so grateful for any donation to help us reach our target and to hopefully exceed it.
If anyone reading this has been struggling or needs someone to talk to please reach out and don’t suffer in silence ❤️
Keep painting rainbows Simmy 🌈
It’s not goodbye it’s see you later 🤍🕊️
