Story
This #GivingTuesday please help me raise $1000 towards the goal of $40k for birth control for Esperanza patients!
About 7 years ago, I made the responsible decision of getting on long-term birth control (because I'm awful at taking daily pills and who wants that kind of risk?). However, at the time I was uninsured and taking a pay cut to pursue community service... so, with my final adequate paycheck I went to Planned Parenthood and qualified for the DISCOUNTED price of $900 for the Nexplanon arm implant.
Let me tell you, dropping that kind of cash at the time hurt, but I knew that it would be more painful and costly if another soul came along when I wasn't ready.
I'd like to help another 20 year-old have access to the birth control of their choice and health needs if that means they get the freedom to pursue their goals. So I ask again, please consider donating ANY amount to potentially another "bb michelle".
