Story
On Saturday 18th June 2022, while out training for the 2022 London Marathon, our mum and sister were hit by a van. The driver lost control when he fell asleep at the wheel, driving across the road and hitting us head-on. The KSS Air Ambulance were at the scene imminently and airlifted our mum to William Harvey where she was able to receive treatment straight away. The team were absolutely amazing and played such a crucial role in our mums recovery. As a family we will always be grateful for the help received from this service, run mainly on charity donations, and we would love to give back to those who played such a crucial part of this journey
