We fund vital research into breast cancer to increase survival after diagnosis

Story

‘Team Zdena’ are now raising funds for ‘Against Breast Cancer’ and taking part in the South coast challenge walking 25km from Eastbourne to Alfriston on September 2nd 2023. Please donate now. We will be so grateful if you can support us.

Our 9-strong family team are representing the rest of our family, friends and anyone else whose been affected by this devastating disease. We want to proudly do this walk in honour of our greatly loved and missed Zdena Clark who fought so bravely against secondary breast cancer.

“If only it had been caught sooner”… Due to ground-breaking research this charity are pioneering the tools to help do just that. This may give other individuals and families affected by secondary breast cancer, something we absolutely longed for….more precious time together!!!

You can read more about Zdena and her brave battle on the Against Breast Cancer website:

Whilst there, you can listen/download an original song inspired by and enjoyed by Zdena, called ‘Desert Rose’. Just simply scroll down to the bottom of Zdena's story to do so.

Desert Rose is written and performed by her devoted husband Dominic, with a lot of help from his producer/ and musician friend Justin Pevy, drummer friend Darren Laurie and bassist son Justin Gisby-Clark. All their amazing talents to help me record and create this track were voluntary, so please donate for the song. Thank you
