Story
I have the made the decision to run the Atlantic Coast Challenge which is three marathons in 3 days from the 4th - 6th October
Since starting running last year it's been one of my favourite things to do from the mental clarity it brings to the resilience it builds I cannot thank it enough for improving my mental health. This will push me out of my comfort zone but that's where u learn the most about yourself and I can't wait to take part in this challenge.
I have decided to run for Meningitis and I will dedicate this challenge to my cousin Emily who died extremely suddenly in 2014. Emily was an amazing loving person with a infectious laugh who was only 19 when she passed with her whole life ahead of her. Her passing had a massive impact on me and my family and still does to this day.
I am currently 19 myself and I think it's easy to forget how precious life is sometimes so to anyone navigating loss or tough moments in their life be grateful, spend time with family and friends and find joy in every day and live your life to the fullest.
Any donations no matter how small are welcome to help support the important work Meningitis Now do to save lives and support families affected by Meningitis
