Hampshire Hospitals Charity's Forget Me Not Fund supports families suffering the loss of their baby during pregnancy or the neonatal period.

Funds raised can go towards memory making items such as 3D Castings, specialist bereavement counselling and community based support groups as well as the upkeep of the Butterfly Bereavement Suites in Winchester and Basingstoke, home from home rooms within Maternity where families will birth and spend as much time with their baby as they wish, during this devastating time.

Every penny is gratefully received and goes a long way to help to break the taboo around the difficulties that can be experienced during pregnancy and baby loss and ensures that families are well cared for during their time in hospital and in the weeks and months that follow.

The FMNF has really supported my colleague and friend Rachel Josey and she has talked about the huge impact the FMNF have had on her family since they lost baby Everley in 2023. They have also supported other colleagues across the network and this year, are one of SWR’s charity partners.

On April 6th, along with 9 others, I will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon. If you feel you can sponsor, that would be greatly appreciated. If you would like to come and show your support on the day, that would also be amazing and the Forget Me Not Fund will have a stand at the event.
