Two best friends of over twenty years plus far too many cocktails equals a hairbrained idea to throw ourselves out of a plane at 12,000 ft for the fabulous charity the Pilgrims Hospice!

We have a target of £2000 but are hoping this will really take off and we can land a much larger figure.

After spending a lot of time at the Canterbury Pilgrims Hospice last year and witnessing the wonderful nurses and support staff provide kind and compassionate end-of-life care for many paitents and support for their loved ones

£12 could pay for a patient's meals for the day

£25 could pay for an hour of specialist nursing care

£35 could pay for the Pilgrims Hospices Community Team to hold a consultation with a patient in their own home

£45 could pay for a one-to-one bereavement counselling session for someone struggling to cope with the loss of a loved one
