Dog walk followed by a Christmas bake swap, 22 December 2024
With the current cost-of-living crisis, thousands of people are expected to turn to The Salvation Army for help this winter. In over 650 communities across the UK, we will be doing all we can for them, whatever their circumstances.

Story

Think about what it feels like when you first step outside in the morning and how cold it is now, in the middle of November. Can you imagine sleeping outside in temperature around zero? How tough must that be for a human being! And why should any human being have to struggle like that? Homeless people deserve all the help they can get and that is why I am organising this special Christmas dog walk on Sunday, December 22 with a swap of Christmas bakes and treats to follow after! Next time you walk through your door into the cold, think about what Christmas is really all about - giving. It would be great if you could join us!
