Story
This Christmas, we are thrilled to welcome MasterChef Champion Dhruv Baker back once again to support RATS and our incredible rescue dogs. One year on, Dhruv continues to be deeply touched by the work we do and has generously offered his time and expertise to create another festive meal for the dogs in our care who are still waiting for their forever homes.
Dhruv’s passion has always been about more than just a Christmas lunch. At the heart of this event is ensuring every dog gets the chance to feel safe, loved and cared for whilst they wait for a family of their own. While the festive feast will bring joy and comfort, the wider aim is to raise vital funds that allow us to keep rescuing - from urgent and often life-saving veterinary treatment to ongoing care for those who arrive with nothing.
For just £5, you can give one of our precious dogs:
- A lovingly prepared Christmas dinner
- A stocking filled with tasty treats
- The ultimate festive pooch pudding
RATS is completely self-funded, and this year has been especially challenging. Like many rescues, we have faced rising and expensive veterinary bills, alongside the daily costs of food, heating and care. We are also working towards an important kennels redevelopment project - a vital step in creating a safer, warmer and more comfortable environment for the dogs whilst they wait for their forever homes.
100% of your donation goes directly to RATS, helping to fund essential vet care, daily food and long-term improvements that will benefit countless animals in the future.
As we approach a season centred on kindness and generosity, even the smallest donation can make a life-changing difference. Whilst we will be celebrating Christmas with a special meal, our true focus remains on giving these dogs the care, security and stability they so desperately deserve.
We know this year has been difficult for many, so if you’re unable to donate, simply sharing our page helps spread the word and means more than you know.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and wishing you a peaceful and wonderful Christmas.
