I'm am once again taking on the Great North Run in bunny ears... because some people can't.

I've sat on both sides of a Samaritans phone call. I've been the listener, taking calls from people at their worst moment. And I've been the one dialling 116 123, at a very dark time of my own.

That's why I keep coming back to this charity. They're there, day or night, every single day of the year, for people who have nowhere else to turn. No judgement, no waiting list, just someone who listens.
