Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Two years ago, I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Thankfully, my symptoms are currently mild, and I credit this to the incredible support I've received from the NHS neurology team in Sheffield and the Parkinson’s physiotherapy team in Buxton.

I want to express my deepest thanks by organising a Disco in aid of Parkinson’s UK at Hartington Village Hall in the Peak District on April 6th, 2024. It's going to be an unforgettable fun night filled with music and dancing.

Parkinson’s is a little understood and often life-limiting condition that can affect anyone at any age. Without the support I've received, my journey could have taken a very different turn. That's why I'm reaching out to you today.

I am determined to raise £5000 for Parkinson’s UK—a remarkable charity dedicated to finding a cure for this debilitating condition. Your contribution can make a significant impact on their efforts.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast, and secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving—they'll never sell them or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, your money will go directly to Parkinson’s UK, making it the most efficient way to support their cause while saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Join me in making a difference by donating today or attending our Disco in aid of Parkinson’s UK. Together, we can bring hope and change countless lives affected by this condition.

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.
