Story
For every £100 I raise I will wear a giant dinosaur suit for the whole day.
My #DineyDays Challenge starts on World Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Day (Friday 25th October) and will end at the end of November.
The reason I’m doing this is to make sure that SBH Scotland’s vital services are still here next year. Getting funding is extremely difficult just now and we need your help.
SBH Scotland helps people with complex disabilities feel unstoppable.
From the very moment they are born kids with spina bifida and hydrocephalus have to fight. Before their first proper snuggles with mum they get taken away for surgery. As they grow up, they have to fight to be heard, understood and respected.
SBH Scotland offers support and spaces where they can be themselves. Where they can be proud of who they are. Where parents can just be parents for a moment.
They are more than a listening ear, more than information. They offer hope beyond diagnosis. They offer all the little things that make life worth living
