Tandem Sky Dive, 6 August 2023
We understand that individuals with dementia require specialized care, which is why we work tirelessly to provide them with the support they need. We have been able to reach individuals who have gone without support for far too long.

Story

Despite the many obstacles they face, Alzheimer's & Dementia Support Services (ADSS) remains committed to providing people affected by dementia in the community with the support they need to live fulfilling lives. They are proud to be making a real difference in the lives of those living with dementia and their families.

My husband John was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia in November 2019, he was 63 years old. The decline to his mental health has been rapid though physically he’s still quite strong. We need to learn more about this terrible brain desease. It may be too late for John and I can only do what I can to make each day count for him but there many people out there who will receive a prognosis today or tomorrow. Believe me when I say it’s like a punch to the gut.

I’m doing a tandem sky dive on Sunday 6 August and will appreciate anything you can give and in advance I thank you so very much.
