How you can help & support us
We believe our team has what it takes to rise up to the challenge, but they cannot do it alone.
We invite you to contribute to our fundraising efforts by sponsoring our team.
Derrycourt has contributed €850 towards the registration fee and the team has committed to raising at least €550.
Although the minimum target is set at €550, we encourage our team and supporters to aim higher and surpass this goal. Every additional euro we raise will have a direct and tangible impact on the lives of sick children at CHI hospitals in Crumlin, Temple Street, Tallaght, and Connolly.
Our team needs your support to reach our fundraising target and make a lasting impact on the lives of sick children in Ireland. If you share our passion for helping those in need and want to contribute to this worthy cause please donate what you can to this cause and share it with your friends and family.
Why We Need Your Support:
This year, aims to raise €160,000 to fulfill a pressing need at Children's Health Ireland Crumlin. The National Paediatric Liver service urgently requires a Fibroscan—a non-invasive tool that detects and stages liver fibrosis and fat content. By replacing invasive procedures like liver biopsies with a quick, painless, and safer alternative, the Fibroscan will significantly improve the diagnosis and management of liver conditions in children. It will reduce unnecessary investigations and treatments, minimize clinical risks, expedite timely interventions, and, most importantly, spare young patients and their families the stress of inpatient stays. Your support can help us make this vital equipment a reality and give every sick child the best chance at a healthier future.
