Simon Community NI's homelessness prevention, accommodation, and young people’s support services are typically at their busiest around Christmas – one of the toughest times for homeless people and people at risk of becoming homeless.

We pride ourselves in supporting our charity partners and our local community – and this year’s Christmas prize draw is another opportunity to do so!

In order to spread some festive cheer in the run up to Christmas, the IMPACT Team will be hosting an online prize draw. Each working day from Thursday, 1st December to Monday, 18th December you can win one of the following fantastic prizes:

How to enter

The prize draw will work slightly differently from a normal raffle, so to enter you must complete the following two steps:

1. Send an email to the Impact mailbox with the answer to the following question: "To the nearest whole number, how many pence out of every £1 received by Simon Community NI goes towards delivering frontline services?"

2. Purchase your ‘tickets’ through our Just Giving Page. Tickets cost £12 each (this entitles you to 1 entry into each of the 12 draws) and you can buy as many as you like. Please make sure you leave your full name so we can get in contact if you have won.

Please do not select Gift Aid as the prize draw is not eligible and any claims made will not be processed.

If friends and family want to get involved they can, simply donate and write your name ‘on behalf of x’ and they will be entered into the prize draw (this is important to distinguish your entry from theirs!)

Remember to complete both steps to secure your prize draw entry! This is to ensure we comply with the UK Gambling Commission requirements.

If you do not wish to donate via Just Giving please contact Sarah Scott, Impact Treasurer, and she will provide alternative options if necessary.

You have until close of play on Thursday, 30th November 2023 to enter. Each name will be put on a list with a number allocated against it, and a random number generator will be used to select a winner for each day’s prize. If you enter after the 30th November, you will only be eligible for the remaining draws, starting from the day after your entry.
