Story
I will be taking part in a 24 hour endurance challenge to raise money for Marie Curie.
The challenge will involve running/ walking a 1.4 mile loop around Latchbrook, Saltash, after each lap I will complete a set of press ups and a set of pull ups.
Last year, the Marie Curie nurses helped over 69,000 people living with a terminal illness and their families. By making a small donation to this challenge, you will be helping to fund care and support for people living with a terminal illness, and their families, across the UK. Marie Curie believes everyone living with a terminal illness should be able to get the most from the time they have left, however hard that may sometimes feel.
Everything they do depends on donations from supporters. Around two-thirds of the money spent each year comes from the people, companies and trusts who decide to support the Marie Curie nurses. The remaining third comes from the NHS.
Without this support, they wouldn’t be able to provide vital care and support to the people who need them at an extremely difficult time.
This is going to be a tough challenge so any donation towards this great cause will be greatly appreciated. The challenge will take place on Saturday 29th July 2023 and will start at 9am.
