The Challenge
I live in Norfolk so usually wouldn’t qualify to take part in Strictly Northampton; however, I won the golden ticket at last year’s Strictly so kind of thought ‘It was meant to be’ 😊 To get a taster of what is to come, I attended a lesson, which didn’t go particularly well! I go to the gym regularly so found myself lunging into the lockstep (Instead of the short step I was meant to be taking), whilst trying to elongate my arms elegantly at the same time. This led to someone saying I looked like a Ninja! 😂 In addition, I live my life in boots and trainers, so am extremely heavy and flat footed! I have never been great wearing / walking in heels, but since moving to the countryside, heels are non-existent! 🤣 I also have very little coordination skills.
So, taking all the above into consideration, I am questioning “What the heck have I set myself up for!? That being said, this is all in aid of a fantastic charity, so anything you can do to donate to support the amazing work they do will be greatly appreciated! Thanking you in advance. xx
The Charity
Every day of the year, your local air ambulance is helping save more lives. Our critical care paramedics, doctors and pilots attend an average of ten rescue missions a day.
The air ambulance gives people the very best chance of survival and recovery. We are supported by a Critical Care Car meaning that we can reach those who need us 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
Within minutes, our critical care crews can be on the ground delivering pre-hospital critical care and giving patients the very best chance of survival – this vital service relies entirely on donations to raise the £2,300 needed for each rescue mission, as the charity receives no government or National Lottery funding.
