Story
This initiative is close to my heart and I am excited to be raising funds in support of the #UNTIMELY campaign, an initiative designed to combat knife crime and youth violence. As the founder of Youth PWR Charity, this cause is deeply personal to me. I established the charity in direct response to the tragic death of a young person due to gang-related violence in my neighbourhood of Croydon. This experience led me to take action and contribute to creating safer communities for young people.
To raise awareness and funds for this important cause, we have organised a bike ride and skating event on August 13th, from Croydon to Hyde Park. And guess what? I have decided to join in the ride! There's just one small hitch — I don't know how to ride a bike! Yes, you read that right. As an adult, I am about to embark on a journey to learn how to ride a bike in preparation for this event. It's never too late to learn something new, right?
Picture this: me, wobbling on a bike, probably falling a few times (okay, maybe more than a few), but determined to master the art of cycling for this important cause. It's going to be a sight to behold, and I promise there will be plenty of laughs along the way. Who knows, maybe I'll even end up with a few entertaining stories to share!
On a more serious note, your support means the world to me and the countless young people we aim to help through the #UNTIMELY campaign. By contributing to this fundraiser, you are directly impacting the lives of young people at risk, providing them with the resources and support they need to stay safe and thrive.
Let's make this ride unforgettable — for me, for you, and for all the young people who will benefit from our efforts. Please donate generously and share this fundraiser with your friends and family, because together, we can create a safer and brighter future for young people.
Thank you for your support and for cheering me on as I conquer my bike-riding challenge!
