Tyne Bridge Zipwire, 1 September 2023
Newcastle United Assistant Coach and Hospice Ambassador Graeme Jones has organised a Sports Dinner to raise funds for St Oswalds Hospice, in memory of his mother, Rita.

Story

On the 1st September I will be taking on the challenge of Zipwiring off the Tyne Bridge to the Quayside which, for anyone who knows me and knows how much I hate heights, is a HUGE challenge for me!

I’m taking on this challenge in support of St Oswalds Hospice and all of the great work they do in supporting patients and their families through such difficult times. It is a charity very close to our family’s hearts as it is where Rita (my Mother-in-Law) received end of life care over 30 years ago, and still to this day, we will never forget how much the Hospice did to support us all
