We fund long-term, sustainable research to find a cure for brain tumours

Story

When Pete passed away last year, I set myself the challenge of walking the 630 mile South West Coast Path, having been inspired by "The Salt Path" by Raynor Winn.

I have now passed the midway point and I will be completing the remaining 296 miles over 3 more stints.I have been lucky enough to walk much of it with friends and family but also some sections are on my own.

I have been blown away by the beauty of the Path and whilst at times challenging, it has been a truly healing and restorative experience for me.

If you would like to support me in raising funds for Brain Tumour Research, I would be so grateful. They are the only national charity in the UK dedicated to funding long-term, sustainable research, campaigning to increase the national investment in brain tumour research to £35 million per year

Historically just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease and over 16,000 people are diagnosed with a brain tumour in the UK every year.

They need £1million a year to build teams of world class research experts at each of the 7 UK Centres of Excellence, all focusing on different types of brain tumours. The only way to improve patients outcomes is to increase the amount of funding that is spent on research.

Please help me fund the fight.

Thank you so much
