Castle Royle Captains' Charity 2023, from 22 February 2023 to 19 February 2024
Castle Royle have decided to continue with their fundraising for the Acute Stroke Unit as their Captains Charity for the coming Captains year.

Story

Malcolm and I have decided to continue with the Acute Stroke Unit as our Captains Charity for our coming Captains year. This is because we know they are seeking funds for new machines and we have both had family members and friends who have suffered strokes.

Royal Berks Charity serves our local community and all funds raised will be used for the benefit of patients of the Royal Berkshire Hospital Acute Stroke Unit and the TIA Clinic supporting them, and their families, as they recover and are rehabilitated after stroke. The unit serves a population of more than half a million people and treats more than 700 strokes and approximately 1000 TIA referrals every year. The TIA clinic investigates and assess people who have had a TIA and this service helps reduce the chance of a patient having another TIA or a stroke.

Thanks you for your ongoing support.
