Story
This Hello Yellow we will join thousands of individuals, schools and communities across the country to raise money and show young people that they're not alone with their mental health.
We are asking all students and staff to wear something yellow if they can in order to promote this cause. Students will be required to come in their normal skirt/ trousers and blazers but may change their shirt and tie for something yellow. Alternatively, they may want to accessorise their hair with a yellow bobble or wear a yellow pair of socks. It doesn't matter what it is as long as it is yellow!
Right now, less than 1 in 3 young people with a mental health condition are getting access to NHS care and treatment. This isn’t good enough and things need to change.
By wearing yellow on World Mental Health Day (10 October), and donating what you can, you can show young people that they are not alone and that things can get better.
Wear it loud. Wear it proud.
Because we stand brighter, together.
