The NHS has had a profound impact on my life, just as it has for countless others. I live with psoriasis, a genetic condition that not only affects my skin, causing painful red patches and scabs, but also impacts my bones. There are days when walking can be excruciating.

While psoriasis isn’t curable, the incredible care and treatment from the NHS have made my condition more manageable. Thanks to their support, I’ve seen significant improvement over the last year, to the point where I’m now able to run regularly—a milestone I never thought possible.

To give back, I’ve committed to running in the Great North Run 2025, one of the world’s most famous half marathons, and I’m raising funds for the NHS. Their work has been life-changing for me, and I want to help ensure others receive the same care and support.
