The governors of Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals are delighted to be sponsoring a star as part of the hospital charities 'Our Shining Stars' appeal which will shine proudly throughout December to recognise the efforts of our NHS heroes and remember those we have lost.

Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals Charity is the official charity which supports Doncaster Royal Infirmary, Bassetlaw Hospital and Montagu Hospital to go above and beyond by providing additional equipment, services and amenities for our patients, visitors and staff which cannot be funded by the NHS alone.

Throughout the last two years, thanks to the generosity of local businesses, schools, community groups and individuals across South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw our hospitals have sparkled their way through the festive season by placing star lights on our buildings raising an incredible £60,000 in the process for Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals Charity.

Our Shining Stars helps to bring some much-needed festive cheer to patients, staff, and visitors of our hospitals whilst also helping us recognise our shining stars, whilst remembering those who are no longer with us.
