II was invited to join this hike by two friends who have had breast cancer, but over the last year alone, another five dear friends and my mum have all been affected. My mum continues to be on chemotherapy for leukaemia, and two good friends are undergoing ongoing treatment and surgery.

So I'm doing this walk for all of them, and all of my friends and family that have been affected by cancer before them - and in special memory of my friend Claire.
