We are taking on a double half marathon challenge, starting with the Cambridge Half Marathon on 9th March. One of the causes we are supporting is the Ruth Hayman Trust (who many of you have supported over the years - thank you!). We are a tiny volunteer run organisation so your support means so much.

The Trust gives give small grants to adults who have come to settle in the UK, for education and training. Most of those we help are asylum seekers and refugees who have no one else to turn to. So your donations really help people change their lives and mean the world. In the words of one of our beneficiaries - when I felt hopeless you showed me hope.

We support people across the UK, from those learning basic English to doctors needing specialist certificates to practise. We can also help with travel for severely disabled learners and essential equipment and books.
