Seeing the work the Rowans Hospice provides first hand is not something anyone would choose, but the palliative care it gives for those living with a life-limiting illness in South East Hampshire, and the support for their families and carers is nothing short of first class.

Rowans carers help improve quality of life for a patient by easing physical symptoms and offering psychological, spiritual and social support to both patients and their loved ones, round the clock.

The Hospice only receives a very small level of statutory support from the Government, so it relies on fundraising and donations to help exactly when and where it is needed.

I am running in memory of our dear friend Corisande so other families can be looked after the way she was. All sponsorship, no matter how small, matters.
