Story

Hi, thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm donning some Lycra in April to do my first Wilmslow triathlon (400m swim, 24k cycle, 6k run) in aid of the Christie Macclesfield Haematology department. 2023 proved to be quite a year for me having an initial diagnosis of Lymphoma in January and after a challenging process involving 7 hospitals, I received treatment at the Christie in Macclesfield. The Haematology department in Macclesfield were great throughout, and now fully recovered I want to give something back to the team that looked after me.

Having started the training I'm now realising that a triathlon isn't so easy!!

If you could make a donation to help the great work at the Christie that would be fantastic.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Many, many thanks

David
