Story

In my latest attempt to raise some money and hopefully awareness for Cardiac Risk in the Young I will be cycling from John O’Groats to Lands end over 6 days between the 20th of May and the 25th of May.

.

To do this I will need to cycle around 150 miles each day for a total of 891 miles (can probably add another 100 miles of getting lost to that) and 42000 ft of climbing.

.

Any donations are massively appreciated but also please share what CRY do with anyone who you think it could help. If you or anyone you know are aged between 14-35 please look into getting a heart screening and making sure there’s no hidden conditions you should be aware of.

.

Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions.

With your donation, CRY can reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young.

By supporting CRY you will help save young lives from these potentially fatal cardiac conditions.
