Reuben's story

When I was born, I needed treatment on my feet so that I would be able to walk and play when I was older. Bristol Children's Hospital cared for me and went above and beyond to help me so that today I can do runs like this one with confidence! They gave me boots and a bar, operated on my feet, gave me new splints to wear and plaster casts when I needed them. They taught me the stretches that I need to do as I grow. They made me feel safe and they cheered me on through my treatment. Because of their kindness and hard work I can play football with my friends and ride my bike! I would like to support the hospital so that other children get the same care that they deserve and so that the hospital get the support that they need to help other children.
