As most of our friends and colleagues will know Steve Atkinson and I walked the Coast to Coast path back in 2021 raising over £11,000 for The Furniture Makers Company. We have now decided to put back on our walking boots to take on The West Highland Way to raise money for the same worthy cause.

We are joined this time by Doug McEwan from Australia!

Together this formidable team have 120 years experience in the furniture industry and in particular the kitchen sector within it!

The impact of Covid and the more recent cost of living crisis has left many in our industry in financial difficulty and this charity is a valuable source of funds and support for many who need it.

For seven days from May 8th 2024 we will be walking the West Highland Way from Glasgow to Fort William.

96 miles and 10,500 feet of elevation!

Whilst we are sure we will enjoy the trek it will not be without its challenges and as such we thought it would be appropriate to take on the challenge on behalf of The Furniture Makers Company, a charity close to our hearts.
