We offer care and support to the Chelsea Pensioners

Story

I am raising for 2 causes: The Royal Hospital Chelsea has been the home of older age Army veterans for 333 years. Today home to some 300 old soldiers it provides care, support, comradeship and recognition to those who served at home and abroad over many years. Many of them continue to serve by volunteering in homeless shelters, food banks, at schools and elsewhere every week. The hospital relies on donations from the generous public to do its work and to honour the service of these old soldiers and, as CEO at the hospital, I thank you for your support

I am also raising for the Invictus Games Foundation which provides a platform for those who have been injured or fallen sick during their service and their families to recover, to find their purpose again and to prove to themselves and others that anything really is possible. I was involved directly in the first 3 Invictus Games and saw first hand the transformational impact they have through the sport, the comradeship and the ongoing connection in the years after. Your donations will ensure this can continue for future generations.

The money I raise will be split 50:50 between these 2 wonderful organisations.
