Story
CASPA is a unique, rapidly growing and award winning charity that was set up in 2002, based in Bromley, providing support to autistic children and young people, and also to their families.
They are one of the charities that O2e support. I was the chair of Beckenham Rugby Cyclists several years ago when we were asked to nominate a local charity to receive annual support. I and my fellow committee members were so impressed by the work that they do that we had no hesitation in nominating CASPA as our chosen charity. They have continued to offer fantastic support to autistic children, young adults and their families ever since.
I am proud to have supported them ever since and am looking forward (with some trepidation, as I'm not a great long distance runner) to this Challenge. The Brighton marathon is a very popular one on the marathon runners circuit, but it is known as being a real challenge due to some hills - as well as being run in beautiful surroundings.
Bring it on! I'm sure it will help in my training towards my second Ironman, probably to be done in 2025. Watch this space!!
