Story
As some of you are aware, on the 22nd December last year my brother Rob set off to work on his motorbike. Through no fault of his own he was sadly involved in a road traffic accident, hit head on by an overtaking car which has impacted his life forever.
Rob has been left with a spinal cord injury leaving him paralysed from around his chest down, resulting him needing a wheelchair for the rest of his life.
Nearly 5 months on from the day of the accident Rob is currently in a specialist spinal hospital, after being at LGI intensive care. He has shown incredible bravery throughout his recovery and is hopefully leaving hospital very soon.
Me, his partner Toni, the whole family and everyone who knows Rob are all so incredibly proud of how he has adapted and his positive attitude towards everything. An absolute trooper!!
On the 26th of May me and Rich will be completing the grueling 24mile hike, of the well known Yorkshire 3 peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside. with a total ascent of 5200ft . We will be completing this, Not once, but TWICE, back to back over 2 consecutive days.
