In September, I will be part of a team of 20 dedicated work colleagues to take on The National Three Peaks Challenge – The Altumate Experience 2024! This is a grueling adventure that involves hiking the three highest peaks in Scotland, England, and Wales—all within 24 hours!

Why am I doing this? Because I want to make a difference in the fight against Alzheimer's disease, the most common cause of dementia. There are currently 944,000 people with dementia in the UK, and my Mum is one of them. I have personally experienced how cruel this disease is. It robs people of their memories, their independence, and their dignity and impacts all those that love them.

One in three people will develop dementia in their lifetime and there is no cure for Alzheimer's, but there is hope.
