The thought of running to do anything other than chase a ball seemed alien to me, but now I have a good reason.

Its been 10 years since my friend, Andrew Gaskell, lost his fight against Motor Neurone Disease and as a group of friends we have undertaken a number of challenges over the past decade.

Leeds was a special place for Andrew, so it seems fitting to return there and find a new way to raise money for an amazing charity doing really special work.

Andrew was a truly special man and I know I will hear his encouragement as I fight my way around the course.
