David Llewellyn is raising money for Sense

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·

Take part in London Marathon as a part of Team Sense, a group of incredible people who believe that no one, no matter how complex their disabilities, should be isolated, left out, or unable to fulfil their potential.

Story

I am taking on the 2025 London Marathon for Sense!

Sense is a national Charity that supports people who are deafblind and those with complex disabilities, to be understood, connected and valued.

They are there for every person who faces communication barriers in a world that relies on being able to see and hear well to be connected. Together we can unlock barriers to communication so no one is isolated, left out or unable to fulfil their potential.

Alfie has seen first hand the amazing support that Sense gives people by attending various events and activities.

Alfie was born with CHARGE Syndrome. CHARGE Syndrome is a rare and complex genetic syndrome which occurs in around 1 in every 10,000 live births worldwide. It causes a pattern of often life threatening defects affecting the eyes, ears, heart, respiratory, genetalia and also causes development delays.

Thank you for helping me reach my London Marathon goal. I really appreciate every single penny donated.
