I will be taking on the London 2025 marathon on behalf of Crunch Mental Health Foundation.
This charity is close to myself and my families heart. Unfortunately on the 17th April 2024 we had received the most devastating news that my Cousin Sam sadly lost his battle with his mental health at the young age of 34. A beloved Son, Brother, Grandson, nephew, cousin and friend to many. Sam was known for his infectious energy, personality and smile. Always putting others wellbeing before himself, and hiding his own struggles as he wore his mental health scars in silence.
Four in five suicides are committed by men. Statistics are rising every year and funded resources are being stretched. Sadly sam's story is one of many men who feel trapped in their own pain with either no idea how to seek help or feeling as though they cant.
It's time to break that silence and make a change.
One conversation has the power to avoid a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
Please follow my marathon journey and all donations how big or small are much appreciated.
I will miss you forever and a piece of my heart left the day you left but i will never ever forget you nor stop challenging myself in your name. I love you always and forever. My first true best friend. I love you Sam this ones for you 👍🏼❤️ I hope i make you proud.
