All of us in Turkey are devastated by the major earthquakes that hit Gaziantep/Kahramanmaras provinces on 6 February 2023, and affected at least 10 provinces in southern Turkey.

A few of the expat runners are trying to do a small bit to help and are launching the Kahramanmaras Earthquake Emergency Relief Fund to support civil society organisations working on the ground to provide immediate relief and medium to long term recovery to survivors of the earthquake.

Although not in the news much outside of Turkey, there is still considerable suffering, and every pound, Euro, dollar or lira is much appreciated.
